Reservation Policies

There are absolutely NO reservation holds. All reservations made must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Any rescheduled booking or voucher must be made and used in the same calendar year before the end of the season (October 1, 2023) unless otherwise noted.

Any change to a confirmed reservation will result in a $25.00+ administrative fee.

A confirmed reservation will hold your vessel for up to 30 minutes after your scheduled departure time unless, after which it will be considered a “NO SHOW” and the entire reservation fee will be forfeited.

In the event the Renter is a "NO SHOW", Renter acknowledges that they forfeit disputes with their card issuers/holder/bank, file a complaint, or process a chargeback.

Rental Policies

• All DRIVERS must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license. (2 Max Legal Drivers) Expired or temporary license are not acceptable.  ALL DRIVERS must be present at check-in to sign all documents and to complete an in-person safety orientation with an Aqua Sports Adventures Team Member. (No-exceptions)
• Effective July 1, 2014, ALL DRIVERS BY LAW must have completed a Georgia DNR Rental Education Course online or an approved Georgia Boaters Safety Course and pass the captain’s test.  This FREE Boater Safety Course will need to be completed on our website, www.AquaSportsAdventures.com  as we cannot honor Safety Cards from other rental companies.  (Our Safety Cards expires 6 months from the date taken) NOTE:  the Boater Safety Course is not required if you have a valid Boater License with the NASBLA symbol on it for proof of certification.
• All Boat Operators/Vessel Drivers must have 2 years of boating experience.  Once reservations are made and it is determined that you don’t have the required minimum years of experience, or you are deemed unable to operate our vessel, your reservation will be canceled with no refund.
• All passengers will be required to sign a Release of Liability Waiver and other terms and conditions documents as required. Minors under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature.  (These forms can be requested in advance). These forms must be signed before any can board the vessel.  Failure to do will result in the forfeit of your security deposit.
• A $500.00 security deposit on a major credit card for each boat rented is required on the day of the rental. Debit cards, check cards, cash, and checks cannot be used for a security deposit.  Should you not have a credit card to secure your deposit.  You will not be allowed to board the vessel and your reservation will be canceled with no refund.
• The Renter is financially responsible for any damages made to the vessel.
• All US Coast Guard required safety equipment is provided at no charge.
• We do allow dogs on most of our vessels.  There is $35.00 pet fee per dog.  A maximum of two dogs are allowed on our 21- foot Pontoons, 22- foot Pontoon, and Deck Boats.  Once the pet fee is added to your reservation, it is non-refundable and non-transferable should you decide not to bring your pet.  Please note that pets are not allowed on our new Premium Boats.
• During the weekday renters should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure; On the weekends it is highly recommended that your entire party arrives 45 minutes prior to departure; On Holidays the renter and all their guest should arrive 60 minutes prior to departure with completed forms.  Rental times cannot be extended due to late arrivals.  (We always ask for your patience during check-in)
• Multi-day rates are available upon request and have different rental policies.
• Late returns will be charged $55.00 for every 15 minutes past your rental return time.
• Operation of our vessels after dark is prohibited.
• Our vessels are not to go past Browns Bridge (Hwy 369).  Violation of this policy can result in a $150 fee.  Should you go past the boundaries that we’ve set for safe travel and response time, and something happens to the vessel, the renter will be financially responsible use TOW Boats USA for safe return.
• Beaching or going ashore on ANY of Aqua Sports Adventure’s Boats/Vessels is strictly prohibited as it can cause hull and toon damage.  Violation will result in the forfeit of the entire security deposit plus the cost of any damages.
• There is No Smoking, No Open Flames, and NO Grilling allowed on any boat/vessel.  Violation will result in the forfeit of the entire security deposit.
• Fuel is not included in the rental.  Each boat leaves the dock with a full tank of fuel and once the boat is returned, it is the renter’s responsibility to refuel the vessel for the amount of fuel used during the rental.  Should you leave before refueling your vessel or you arrive back after your scheduled return time, your card on file will be charged for the full amount owed plus a $50.00 Convenience Fee will be charged.
• There is a ZERO Tolerance Policy for the Use of Drugs or Alcohol by Designated Driver(s) for ALL BOAT/Vessel Operator/Driver.  Violation will result in the forfeit of the entire security deposit and law enforcement notified.
• Any violation of policies, our boating rules, or laws will result in an automatic forfeit of your security deposit.

Cancellation and Inclement Weather Policies

Cancellation Policy and Fees

• There is a $95.00 cancellation fee for 4-hour rentals ($150.00 for holiday reservations) and a $175.00 cancellation fee for 8-hour rentals ($250.00 for holiday reservations).  The fee will be deducted from the confirmed reservation with greater than 72-hour (3-days) cancellation notice and 168-hours (7-days) on HOLIDAYS.
• A Cancellation with less than 72-hour (3-days) notice, 168-hours (7-days on Holidays, or a "NO SHOW" will forfeit the entire reservation fee and cannot be applied towards a future reservation. 
• Sorry, cancellation fees cannot be waived for personal emergencies or Covid.
• There are no canceling same-day reservations once they are booked. 
• There are NO REFUNDS.  Full Rental Rate is earned should you not meet the Cancelation Policy.   
• Please see your multi-day quote for the Multi-day Cancellation Policy as they differ. 

Inclement Weather Policies

• There are NO REFUNDS.
• The future weather forecast, cloudy weather, sprinkles, slight drizzles, or too hot or too cold temperatures are not justifications for cancellations or reschedules.  Boats will go out if the weather is safe.
• Dangerous conditions are heavy rains lasting more than forty-five minutes, lightning, tornado warnings, and/or high wind advisories.  Should these inclement weather conditions occur during your rental period, your TIME out on the water may be pro-rated at Aqua Sports Adventures discretion and a voucher for TIME missed out on the water may be issued based on how long you were out on the water.
• You must be present to receive your Inclement Weather Voucher for actual weather conditions at the time of your rental.  Don’t assume that just because the weather looks bad that it will actually happen.  We will send boats out if the weather is safe. 
• A “No Show” will forfeit the entire reservation fee and cannot be used towards a future rental.
• Should the weather be deemed dangerous or unsafe by our staff based on creditable weather sources prior to your reservation, we will waive the administrative fee to move to a future date for the same type of boat and same time booked or issue a voucher for you to redeem by the end of the season.
• Vouchers are valid through October 1 of the year of your original rental.

22 Ft. Pontoon Policies

RENTAL POLICIES:

• The maximum number of drivers allowed per boat/vessel rented is 2.  Passengers can be of any age.

Please note that Pets are not allowed on our Premium Boats.

• Entering and exiting our dock inside of Holiday Marina is IDLE SPEED only.  Violation could result in a fee.

RESERVATION POLICIES:

• Reservations are for 4-hour, 8-hour, and multi-day rentals only. Multi-day rentals cannot exceed 7-days.  Should you need longer than a 7-day rental a separate reservation will have to be made so that the boat can be checked-in, and maintenance performed if needed.

• There is a $75.00 cancellation fee for 4-hour rentals and a $125.00 cancellation fee for 8-hour rentals.  The fee will be deducted from the confirmed reservation with greater than 72-hour (3-days) cancellation notice and 120-hours (5-days) on HOLIDAYS.
• A Cancellation with less than 72-hour (3-days) notice, 120-hours (5-days on Holidays, or a "NO SHOW" will forfeit the entire reservation fee and cannot be applied towards a future reservation.
• Changes or moves cannot be made to a confirmed reservation once inside of your cancellation policy. 
• Sorry, cancellations fees cannot be waived for personal emergencies or Covid. 
• There are no canceling same-day reservations once they are booked.
• Please see your Multi-day quote for the Multi-day Cancellation Policy. 
• There are NO REFUNDS.  Full Rental Rate is earned should you not meet the Cancelation Policy.

• You must be present to receive your Inclement Weather Voucher for actual weather conditions at the time of your rental.  Don’t assume that just because the weather looks bad that it will actually happen.  We will send boats out if the weather is safe.  A “No Show” will forfeit the entire reservation fee and cannot be used towards a future rental. 
• Should the weather be deemed dangerous or unsafe by our staff based on creditable sources prior to your reservation, we will waive the administrative fee to move to a future date for the same type of boat and same time booked or issue a voucher for you to redeem by the end of the season.  There are no refunds.  
• Vouchers are valid through October 31 of the year of your original rental unless otherwise note.  Reservations can not be moved to a holiday weekend.
